Avocado Toast

An obligatory recipe, but fully tailored to your preference.



  • Sour dough toast

  • Ripe avocado (smashed, sliced, however you like)

  • Squirt of lemon juice

  • A runny egg (poached, fried over easy, sunny-side-up, your choice)

  • Salt and pepper


  1. Cook the egg in any manner you choose

  2. Prep your avocado how you prefer (I like smashed and then smeared on my toast)

  3. Spritz a bit of the lemon to prevent oxidation

  4. Toast your sour dough slice

  5. Spread / place your avocado on top of the toast

  6. Place the egg on top

  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper

  8. Done.
